Russell Kortright releases debut album

Influenced by a myriad of styles through a career of playing rock, jazz-rock, country, folk, celtic, bluegrass and new age, Russell Kortright’s new CD “Still On Earth” is a unique blend of all these moods and spirits. This CD invites the listener to share his journey, through clean, hard driving rock and roll guitar with a razor’s edge, to a softer melodic new age style. Both sides of the spectrum are written and performed with equal precision and grace. His melodies are both earthy and elegant, and the grooves are just as diverse. You will be compelled to get up and move as the tension builds and then relax and drift away in meditation. You get the best of both worlds. A true work of art for the guitarist and the guitar lover as well.
